Austrian G-Wagon specialist OSC was not only the first company to develop a portal axle kit for the Mercedes G W463a, but also the first one to create a 6x6 conversion. Once again we were given the opportunity to support this impressive project with one of our custom made 4x4proyect 2.65 PRERUNNER suspension kits.
The parting point for this project was Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG with a V8 twin-turbo engine and 577hp that once cut in two had its frame lengthened to accommodate a third axle. Once in place the body was stretched as well with a custom pickup bed and then the new born vehicle was equipped with a set of portal axlesand 37” tires on beadlock wheels. Such a vehicle clearly needed a suspension system that liced up to its performance capabilites. So we put oru team to work and developed a custom set of 4x4proyect 2.65 PRERUNNER shock absorbers combined with EIBACH coilover springs.
The result is a true beast that turns heads wherever it makes an appearance and also shows excellent on- and off-road manners.
