Mercedes G44 PRERUNNER

Austrian specialist OSC was the first company to develop a portal axle kit for the Mercedes G W463a and we were able to participate in this exciting project developing a tailored shock absorber kit.

OSC took a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG with a V8 twin-turbo engine and 577hp as base vehicle and fitted it out with their previously engineered portal axles and 37” tires on beadlock wheels.Once modified it was clear that the stock shock absorbers lacked travel for serious offroading and were not up to the challenge of handling such a beast. That's were 4x4proyect entered the game and developed a custom set of 2.65 PRERUNNER shock absorbers combined with EIBACH coilover springs.

The result is a beast that, depsite it's tall stance, can be comfortably driven on German highways at speeds that make you feel illegal while effortlessly climbing over any obstacle on the trail of your choice.
