What do you think of this impressive Mercedes Sprinter 6x6?
Its owner turned to us as he was having suspension issues. After a spectacular camper conversion this Sprinter with an Oberaigner 6x6 traction system, was getting up to 7000kg when loaded for a trip and the stock suspension compo9nents were not up to the challenge. More so considering that the vehicle was being used for much more than road driving and campsite parking as Andy, its owner, loves offroading and travelling to remote locations.
With its size and weight the need for a suspension improvement was out of doubt. At 4x4proyect we got to down to work and developed a custom set of 2.65" PRERUNNER shock absorbers that would be able to control the movements of this unique vehicle and, at the same time, give it back all the comfort needed for long trips and the stability required for twisty roads and trails. While we were at it, we gave it some more suspension travel to increase its offroad capabilities even further.
