With this Discovery II V8 we had the opportunity to work on a unique vehicle. Its owner wanted the best possible handling and we laid out a plan with the specialists from GRIP4x4. We concentrated on developing a suspension setup that would allow to increase ride height, provide long travel and flexibility and improve stability and comfort while running on 35" tires. All that performing well on all types of terrain, no matter if on- or off-road.
The result was this new 4x4 proyect 2.65" Prerunner shock absorber kit that you can see below. The 4PD-LRD215K kit has all the usual characteristics like 2.65" bodies, digressive pistons, CCV valves, self adjusting capabilities, 22mm racing grade piston rods and a lot more. The kit also includes improved shock mounts and they're a simple bolt-on install and don't require modifications to the vehicle.
As an add on the suspension system is fully compatible with vehicles equipped with active swaybars or pneumatic suspension.
