4x4 Proyect Design has developed the new 4x4 Proyect Design Joint with reference 4PD4904. This revolutionary extra high mobility and hevay duty joint combines a hogh quality steel housing with polymer liners to guarantee top notch results in the harshest conditions. Its unique adjustable preload feature completely eliminates any play.

Thanks to its extra high mobility of up to 68º 4x4 Proyect Design Joints are perfect for long travel suspension applications with shocks beyond 16" o 40cm of travel. Thanks to their high mobility suspension arms traditionally set up in a joint-joint configuration can now be installed in a joint-silentblock configuration. This set-up combines the excellent absortion capability of this elastic elements with the unprecedented mobility of the 4x4 Proyect Design Joint offering the hoghest comfort paired with superior mobility.

All 4x4 Proyect Design Joints are tested to the highest standards including 200.000 full rotations to guarantee their quality and wear resistance. Being fully adjustable and rebuildable makes replacing single parts, like liners or balls, easy and makes them suitable for virtually any project.

4x4 Proyect Design Joints have been designed to work in extreme conditions and due to their versatility and durability they can be used from simple road driving to professional level off road racing. Additionally their special polymer liners are completely inmune to corrosive agents or chemical products.

The only required maintenance is the usual periodic greasing which should be done with food grade lubricants to guarantee the longevity of the liner-ball combination. The joint´s specific grease fitting has been reduced in size for optimum protection against external damage and its position was carefully chosen so as to not limit the joint´s mobility.
