One of the kits that we offer on 4x4 Proyect Design for conversion to long arm is the Kit with reference 4PD111011
In that case we mount in the front a Radius Arm configuration and rear a 4-link configuration.
When replacing the short arms of origin for the long arms of our Kit 4PD111011, we got increasing the performance of our 4x4, improve the geometries and offering a better stability both on the road and outside also improve the traction of the vehicle.
Have 4x4 Proyect Design 2.5 Series Ball Joint adjustables in hardness and length throught the preload system, which counts with a pin and a nut that supports the track, for remove the slacks and noises that present the Ball joint by the wear. This also is interesting when we would like use the car for do trial or go fast on track, because the adjust of the ball joint give more or less speed to the suspensions.
This kit is assembled in two different ways:
Welding directly to the chassis
Screw it trough 2 screws M16 (no more are needed but can be fixed up to 4)
It has a studied geometry, with possibility of varied options for each specific application, being able to improve for example the anti-squating by adjusting the height of the long arms in each of the rear brackets.
We use top quality materials, wich Cromo-Molibdeno 4130 for the long arms also of special steels for screwing and brackets that allows a controlated flex and higth longevity.
This is a kit compound only for arms. You can complete how you like more with parts of the manufacturer 4x4 Proyect Design or another one (Bumpstop, trackbar)
